2 months

Two wonderful months have raced past in a blur of diapers and snuggles. And, although I often wonder if I'll ever have the time or creative energy to write anything that is witty, poignant or spell checked again...I have often thought of the blog land over the last several weeks. I'll think , oh I should write about that later, or the hubster will make a comment about how a situation would make an interesting post for my blog.


Then, I whip out my boob to nurse and all of a sudden three hours have gone by and I am staring zombie- like at who knows what on the muted TV and I wonder how it got to be 11pm. Also, I wonder why my girl is still up. The dogs, on the other hand, are wondering where the fuck their dinner is.


So it seems I have a moment now, so I thought I should let you all know that we're All Good here in the family love nest. We even survived the first round of immunization shots. The dogs, however, are a little disgruntled -but they're hanging in.


The coolest thing about being a mom is messing with your child. Here, Ruby is being ever so patient while my friends and I create an artistic gumboot and bikini photo shoot.Here we are, all smiles, after an 8 hour sleep ( that's right folks- but it doesn't happen all the time, so please don't hate me). This was our first family road trip/ practice mini vacation to Victoria.
